Recipes for dry skin care
Dry skin is generally due to less oil and moisture produced by the sebaceous glands.
Simple dry skin results from the lack of natural oils that mainly affect women under 35 years of age, while complex dry skin lacks both oil and moisture and is distinguished by fine lines, dilated pores and flabby skin that occurs with aging.
Alternatively, dry skin may result from genetic conditions, poor nutrition, particularly deficiencies in vitamin A and B vitamins, exposure to environmental factors such as sun, wind or aggressive use of chemicals, cosmetics and excessive bathing with aggressive soaps.

Recipes for dry skin care
Some essential oils for dry skin include
Chamomile, Geranium, Hyssop, Lavender, Patchouli, Rose, Sandalwood, and Ylang-Ylang.
– The locally applied Aloe Vera gel helps to remove dead skin cells and is soothing, healing and moisturizing.
– In the facial sauna, calendula is used and the major firming agent with its emollient properties for the skin.
– 4 – 5 drops of lavender oil in the bathwater followed by the application of diluted evening primrose oil or Aloe Vera cream moisten dry skin.
– Evening primrose oil contains essential fatty acids to strengthen skin cells and increase their moisture content.
– Drink tea prepared with chamomile, dandelion or peppermint.
Tea of borage, fennel, butterfly or calendula helps to improve the skin.
Add 1 teaspoon of both herbs in 1 cup of boiling water and drink every day.
– Tea tree oil with its penetrating properties on the skin helps to moisturize and smooth the skin.

Mask for dry skin
Get a smooth paste by mixing 6 ounces of unflavoured yogurt, a few finely chopped almonds, 2 teaspoons of honey and wheat germ oil each.
Apply and massage the skin for 20 minutes.
Wash with cold water.
Chopped almonds exfoliate and eliminate dead skin, honey helps in the mask adhering to the skin and vitamin E in wheat germ oil fights radicals.
Homemade balm for dry, cracked lips
Warm-up ½ cup of almond or grapeseed oil.
Add 2 teaspoons of melted beeswax, ½ teaspoon of alkanet root.
Filter the oil by removing the root.
Add 8-10 drops of natural aromatic oil and 3 drops of vitamin E oil.
If your hands are dry or cracked, massage with essential oils of sandalwood, rose or chamomile mixed with a moisturizing base oil such as hazelnut, avocado or evening primrose.
To energize your natural hand moisturizer, mix wheat germ oil with your favorite essential oil.
Before bathing, apply a mixture of 1 egg yolk, 1 teaspoon orange juice, 1 teaspoon olive oil, a few drops of rosewater and lime juice to the skin.
This is a good morning skin cleanser. 1 egg, 1 teaspoon of honey, ½ teaspoon of olive oil and a few drops of rose water make a good beauty mask for dry skin.
Try the herbal facial sauna once a week.
Use chamomile, lavender and peppermint herbs.
Boil 2 – 4 teaspoons of dried or fresh herbs in 2 liters of water.
After a few minutes of steaming, place the pot at a comfortable distance from your face on a table.
Bend over the pot with a towel covering your face and the pot to trap the steam.
After 15 minutes, spray cold water and air dry your skin, followed by applying moisturizer or face oil.
You can cool the herbal water and use it as a toning lotion to dab on your face after cleansing.
